2012 was an amazing year. In a lot of ways it was wonderful (especially the part about me becoming a mommy), but in a lot of ways it was not at all fun (especially post-partum depression). I sure hope I can keep the lessons I learned last year fresh in my mind so that 2013 will be my best year yet.
This year, instead of year-long goals that I will inevitably forget mid-Spring, I'm going to set weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals. I'll keep them updated and let you know how they are going!
Quarterly Goals: (January 1-March 31)
1. Read the Bible all the way through, reading three days in the Old Testament and one day from the New Testament, according to this reading plan.
2. Spring Cleaning using this guide:
Monthly Goals: January
1. Cook every day. Try at least one new recipe this month.
2. Keep my head on straight. I am going to try not to lose my temper or get overly emotional, especially if my sweet girl won't go to sleep.
Weekly Goals: December 31-January 6
1. Accomplish 4 items on Spring Cleaning list.
2. Pray for 15 minutes every day.
I am excited to share this year with you! Here's to new beginnings and new happy memories.
I can totally understand your second monthly goal. Especially when it comes to baby and toddler sleep. Most frustrating thing ever!! Great goals. I need to copy your method.
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome idea on the goals! I may have to steal that idea too! So much easier to wrap our mommy brains around! :)
